The primary mission of the LACM Foundation is to provide financial assistance to aspiring musicians in the form of scholarship funding toward the pursuit of a college degree in music, as well as to offer support of organizations working to develop and educate young musicians as they grow toward the age of college entrance. It is the belief of the organization that all who wish to pursue the study of music should have the access, opportunity and financial ability to do so regardless of socioeconomic background. The LACM Foundation also specializes in providing support in the form of goods and services, making music programs and equipment available to those who need assistance and resources.
The LACM foundation provides financial assistance to aspiring musicians in the form of scholarships, education, making music programs, networking & career building, and equipment towards the pursuit of college degrees in music.
Scholarships for students to pursue a higher education degree in Music Performance, Music Production, Composition or Music Business at Los Angeles College of Music, regardless of financial wealth or background of opportunity.
YOUNG MUSICIANS FUND
Elementary and Secondary student financial support toward the particular endeavors of Notes for Notes or Arturo Sandoval Institute, to allow young people of all socioeconomic backgrounds the opportunity to study music by creating the most optimal cycle of education from beginner to professional. Projects include: instrument donation, financial support of programs, provision of instructional staff and volunteers from the LACM community.
LACM INNOVATION STUDIO
Funds for the creation of the LACM Private Lesson Studio, an enterprise serving the communities of the San Gabriel Valley by providing musical instruction on a sliding scale and/or scholarship basis while providing the LACM student and alumni community the opportunity to teach.
